A green boundary that belongs in the garden.

At this Oxley home, the front boundary sits among established palms and planted garden beds. Southside Fencing & Construction created custom aluminium slat fencing to suit the site, bringing a consistent green finish to the different sections of the frontage. The horizontal slats frame the garden while allowing glimpses through to the planting and street beyond.

The photographs show how the fence follows the landscaped edge and changes direction around the corner. Repeating slat spacing gives these separate sections a connected appearance. Cottage Green is the powder-coat colour selected for the metalwork; the project is located in Oxley, QLD 4075.

Fabricated for the site, then powder coated.

All panels were custom fabricated to suit the site and powder coated in Cottage Green after fabrication. Galvanised steel posts form part of the construction. This sequence allows the made-to-measure panel layout and finish to be considered together, rather than adapting the garden frontage around a standard panel arrangement.

The finished result combines a clear boundary with a light, open visual rhythm. Close views show the slat panels, posts and access section, while the wider photographs place them in the context of the existing stone edging, garden beds and palms.
